Day 4 - Roadtrip to Cali

Sorry for the delay. There wasn't a whole lot to report from day 4. It was a no-travel day which worked out perfectly for so many reasons.

We woke up and had breakfast with all the cousins. This was my delicious omelet!

Then we walked back out to our car only to find that we had gotten a parking ticket!!! We didn't put any quarters in the meter, but the one next to us was busted so we figured we would be fine....I guess not! 

Thankfully it was only for $7 so we made sure to pay it right away!

We got back to grandma and grandpa's house in time to say goodbye to Josh's mom and brother and then I got really sick. I spent the next 3 hours throwing up and trying to recover from food poisoning! Not from the delicious omelette mind you. (Because josh ate half of mine and felt fine!) I took 2 naps and laid in bed all day. I was miserable, but we were so thankful that we didn't have to travel at all that day!

By dinner time I was feeling better and even had enough energy to decorate the Christmas tree that Luke chopped down on their property!

We don't get to see Josh's extended family very often, but we absolutely love spending time with them! We said goodbye to most of them that night and went to bed early for our long drive the next day!
