Our hotel gave us a free breakfast - and this was not the normal complimentary breakfast that you would assume. Josh ordered the breakfast sampler which included sausage, bacon, eggs, grits, a pancake, potatoes, biscuits and gravy and fruit. Our drinks were included in the free breakfast as well! We were extremely impressed with the food and the service! Our waitress was extremely on top of her game! So, of course the very first thing we decided to do while we were here is golf! Myrtle is widely known in the golfing community as having THE best courses. I was wondering how they would be during the slow, winter season. The course we chose started off by impressing us before we even began playing!
We got to ride on this ski-lift over the river to get to the golf course! AWESOME! Here are some of our pictures from golfing that day:
Our hotel also included two free hours of BOWLING! The bowling alley is located on the 6th floor of their hotel. What an awesome idea...to build a bowling alley in a hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed playing and I learned how to bowl with my left hand!!! A trip to Myrtle Beach would not be complete without a walk on the beach. The following are several pictures from our walk.
It turned out to be such a beautiful day at the beach! :)
First touch in the Atlantic Ocean since our move!
The rest of our trip included a wonderful massage, some shopping, more bowling, and another walk on the beach! We had a wonderful time enjoying this area off-season. We are looking forward to visiting again - perhaps when it is a bit more crowded and when more things are open. Here are a few more picutres from our trip that are worth posting!
Seriously?!?
I can't believe I live near Alligators!!!
This was an awesome shopping center that had bridges connecting the various stores
Our trip to Myrtle Beach could not be complete without a trip to Outdoor World
Our second morning with another beautiful sunrise!!!
LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.
